a leader you can trust
Real results today. A vision for tomorrow.
Aloha, Brothers, Sisters & Kin –
For the past nine years, I have been your Business Rep. through some of our Localʻs most challenging times: the pandemic, labor strikes, film contraction and everything in between.
Finally, there is film work on the horizon, and three shows overlapping next Spring. I am actively pursuing an agreement with the City, and we have organizing targets in our sights. Now is not the time to downshift. We are ramping up.
It looks easy from the bleachers, but unless youʻve been doing it for as long as I have, you will get swallowed by the work. It takes careful consideration and real commitment.
So, ignore the noise.
You deserve results, not rhetoric.
It is a privilege to serve you, and I humbly ask for your vote to continue as your B.A. and lead IATSE Hawaiʻi into the future with Unity and ALOHA.
Get ready, voting opens soon!
Meet Your Business Rep
I’ve spent the last 40 years working in this industry, and the last nine as your Business Rep. Iʻve seen our industry change over the years, and we have done a great job adapting to the times in the past, but now change is happening faster than ever before.
Weʻre facing real questions about how much work stays in Hawaiʻi, what kind of lives our members can build here, and how we protect the next generation of crew coming up behind us. We need to continue building a stronger, safer, and more connected Local, where every member knows they are seen, supported and never standing alone.
As your Business Representative, I will continue listening, learning, and fighting to make sure our workers are treated fairly and with respect. That means:
- Pushing for safe, sane hours and conditions on every job.
- Protecting our contracts, wages and benefits.
- Answering our membersʻ emails, texts and calls when they reach out.
- Organizing non-union companies and supporting our allies.

Why I Do This Work
I love this industry. I love these islands. And I love the people who make our productions come alive every day. Being your Business Representative is an honor and a kuleana (responsibility) I take seriously.
MAHALO for the trust you’ve placed in me. I’m here to continue standing up for you.
My Priorities Moving Forward

Training, Organizing & Career Support
We have signed stage agreements through 2027 and are strengthening our ties with the Blaisdell. We are ramping up and need to finish these out.
